WHAT IS PAC?
A Parent Advisory Council (PAC) helps strengthen the connection between families and the school community by providing opportunities for parents and guardians to share perspectives, support school activities and contribute to a positive school experience for students. Their role is advisory, while decisions about the management and operation of the school remain the responsibility of the school district and school administration.
A PAC is established for the school and conducts its affairs through elected officers and bylaws, under section 8 of the School Act.
The elected PAC Executive helps coordinate the work of the PAC throughout the school year. Together with our committees, coordinators and parent volunteers, we organize events and activities, support school initiatives, manage PAC funds and fundraising, share information and resources, and provide opportunities for families to participate in our school community.
PAC meetings also give parents and guardians an opportunity to hear updates, bring forward ideas and take part in discussions about our school community.
Please respect and appreciate them undertaking these roles for the betterment of the school community.

Spul’u’kwuks PAC brings parents and guardians together to support our students and help build a welcoming, inclusive and connected school community.
Every parent and guardian of a student at Spul’u’kwuks is part of the PAC. Whether you attend meetings, volunteer at an event, share an idea or simply stay connected, you are part of our school community.
